Growing up in the 90s, learning was Paul’s hobby. The library had free Linux CDs, so he’d get old computers for very cheap or free, fix them up and install Linux on them. In this way, he was able to teach himself Linux systems administration and programming from a very young age.
Eventually, it turned into a career and Paul became an avid IT generalist and got hired at Mojohost in 2011. Back then, traffic home from the office was bad in every direction except towards Detroit, where houses were so cheap people were trading them for iPhones at the time. So, being a logical person, he just moved there, eventually buying a beautiful old historic house to live in and fix up on the weekends.
When he’s not working at the office or on the house, you’ll probably find Paul somewhere in nature, not doing anything in particular at all except enjoying it.
